I have to repair some chips and cracks on my tombstones and I have read before that wood putty works. If so, is there a certain brand or type that I should use? Any help would be appreciated.

"...And out of the darkness, the Zombie did call
True pain and suffering he brought to them all
Away ran the children to hide in their beds,
for fear that the devil would chop off their heads..."

Elmers is what you want as Big Nick stated. Pretty cheap.

I too have seen people recomend wood "putty" however there is also wood "filler". Which is the correct product to use? Teh wood putty was more expensive and in less quantity.

Wood filler works just fine...similar to wood putty...the putty seams to be more of a solid form at first and dries quicker. The filler is typically softer at first and take a bit longer to dry. They both hold up the same after they dry. Hope that helps.
