    Hey all,
I've been on the look out for a way to make realistic looking fake blood to put on my props that would be permanent and hold up to the elements. Any suggestions?

Depending on how much you need, I think red fingernail polish would do the trick. I'd test it on an inconspicuous place on your prop first, to make sure it won't damage it.

The nail polish is a good idea for small props, but I like it bloody so I need a lot!
I tried the link you gave GhostTown and most seem to be corn syrup based, which stays sticky. I'm looking for something that will dry, yet looks wet.
    Thank you very much though!

What about water based clear varnish with red food coloring in it. That would dry and yet look wet.
