    Hi,

Finished up a coroplast Coffin to put over the top of a shelf . This was inspired by DeadSpider's excellent "faux wood shelves" tutorial on her AranaMuerta site ( http://aranamuerta.com/2008/07/27/faux-wood-shelves ) .Hard to believe she made hers from pieces of cardboard.

Each shelf has an LED light above .The coffin is attached to the shelf with velcro on the sides .

The first two pictures are the coroplast Coffin covering the shelf ,one with flash one without, the third picture is how the shelf looked last Halloween . This year all of the items from 2010 will be displayed in the Coffin.

As always, more photos in my Forum gallery .Thanks for looking.

I like the concept. It looks pretty cool.

Thanks coryjwa and Sinister Sid . The best thing about this is it takes no space to store it.

That is excellent! Where do you get the coroplast? I've only seen small pieces (sign size).

    Hi cinders,

You can buy it in 4' X 8' sections (about $26 ) at sign painting and art supplies stores. I made mine from three 4' X 2' pieces .

That piece really turned out great. Nice detailing.
