So I picked up these killer skulls at Big Lots for $10 each and was not sure what to do with them until my son dropped one and broke the cranium! I had to hide the hole some how so I decided to make these candles out of PVC pipe, Hot glue and some parts to make lamps with from Home Depot. Total cost was probably $15 for each skull.

Just a heads up, Walgreens has those skulls for $6. Walmart has a lot of the lights Big Lots has for less. There seem to be some regional stores not in my area that carry things like the Dracula's Pub sign for less. Big Lots feels like a Big Ripoff With Lots Of Overpriced Things this year.

Well I thought that was rude. I like getting tips on great buys. But you didn't even comment on how great they looked. I on the other hand loved them. They look awesome. Plan on making a few myself. Thank you.

Savage, those really turned out nice! I agree with Jack, you need to pat your son on the back!

Yeah, nice job on the candles. I've been putting some together with my 12 year old daughter and they don't look nearly as good as those!
