I've finally had a little bit of time to get back to some of my own stuff and I was able to get this almost done tonight. Still need to detail him a little and finish attaching his hands.
You can pretty much see what I made him out of. I started with one of our Adjustable Grave Grabber Kits. The hands are a set of stripped down and repainted $9.99 Gruesome Ground Breaker stake arms (Kmart Style). The Head is a Heads of the Dead Subject E85 from Creepy Collection and the shirt is a Goodwill special.

A job well done. The head really sells it! And I've always made use of those Kmart hands when they go on sale after the season. I'm lousy at making hands from scratch.
I build dead people.

That looks great! Love the simplicity of it. Never heard of Creepy Collection before. Those heads are perfect. Nice job on that!.

very well done! Could we have a more detailed description of how you made the movable joints please?
Perhaps some close up pic's of the joints?

Thanks for all the replies.
Mad Mark, the joints are premade, I did not make them, well not technically, although I did design them.
They are available on my site (in my signature).
Nightcast, I like the joints a lot (although, I may be a bit biased since they are mine)
I have built several props of my own using them, and I really do like building with them. Several members here have purchased them from me and I am sure somebody could give you their opinion as well.
There are also free plans for these props on my site. My next project will actually be a window grabber that you will be able to attach right onto any windowand it will lokk like it is hanging out the window. As soon as I get it assembled and tested, I hope to have the plans for it available as well.

Hey, Thanks for the reply to my question. The joints look great. Do they "Lock" in place so an arm or leg can hold the position and support the weight of the limb? Could they work with another material, Wood?
Looked over your website. Very nice, and yes your prices are quite fair.

You are welcome Mark. Our joints do not have any teeth in them. It is a smooth mating surface and there is a rubber friction washer in between the 2 halves. Depending on how tight you make the couplers, you can either lock them in place, or allow them to be moved as needed and they will pretty much stay without a problem. Prior to installing the washers, we were able to get a limb to hold about 8 lbs of weight before it started slipping. At that point, it was almost toppling the rest of the frame, so anything within reason should be able to be held in place without an issue.
If you could find something to fit inside the coupler, I am sure you could attach almost anything. If you look at Sipesh's Ground Breaker, the forearms are actually skeleton arms and hands mated right to the couplers.
Thanks, I appreciate that. If all goes well, we will have some new parts available for next season. Likely some smaller parts that will work with 3/4" and 1/2" pipe. Hoping to have something small enough to be able to make knuckles for hands.
