    Hello,

My front yard is set up like a grave yard during halloween. I do have a very large tree in my yard and looking for something to do with it this year. Any ideas on what type of props to build and use in a tree?

You could hang some pumpkins or candles from the tree branches.
I have some pictures of pumpkins I hung in a couple of trees last year on my website.

I "built" this a couple years ago.

Witch jars are always great to hang in the trees. Adds a really cool effect!

That skeleton guy in the tree was super easy to make. Some scrap wood in screwed together in the shape of a T. Some cheesecloth dyed to a purpley-grey colour. A blucky skull and hands. Staples and welding rods. Draped the cheesecloth over the T and misted it black to make it not so purpley. Stapled it secure. Used welding rods to make arms extending out in a looming style. (I doubled and tripled the cheesecloth over the T make it less transluscent. I also ripped and torn the nice round loops on the bottom)Suspended the skull with more welding rods. Draped more cheesecloth over it to make a hood. Stapled some twine on the back to hang him like a picture on the tree. Then nailed the bottom of the T to the tree so he was leaning in over the sidewalk. My mom bought me a clear flood/spot light to highlight him.
