I know there has been a number of demonica threads. This is the last one I will personally start! I know everyone likes a vid so I hope this will be of interest. It's imprtant to note that even though I'm sure this is a 2011 version and it works, it may not work exactly as yours does, and it may not be packed exactly like yours is.

This version sure does look different in the set up.So much easier. But yours does the exact same movement as my last years version. It doesn't do like it should (yours and mine )but it still looks pretty good.

I just bought one today (the new version) and the head on my DOES tilt back. After watching your video, I took a flashlight and looked up her dress (man, that sounds bad) to see what was going on when the head tilts. There are two short bell cranks on either side at the top, and a small motor with gray and orange wires. Four additional wires (red, black, green and blue) continue on into the head (probably for the eyes and head-turn motor). When her head tilts the bell cranks rotate 180 degrees then stop while her head turns side to side. Then the cranks continue in the same direction 180 degrees back to their original position. Check for loose wires at that motor. Most of my wires have silicon on the connection, but I did find two on the spine that were barely soldered. It could be a wire in the base too.

I'll take a look up by her head. I've been planning on exchanging her if my local spirit would EVER open it's doors. I can't believe they still aren't open. As you can see from the vid, she does work though. I'll try for an exchange though.

Wow, MUCH different then last years version. Love the single module version better and that it has no head wire to get stuck on her dress, but no head snapping, my version did for awhile then it stopped and did what yours did. I contacted Tekky Toys and they sent some parts back and it worked but had no sound, so I sent her back to them for repair. Hopefully she will do her head snap as that makes her much better, also I love the color this years version better as well as the hair, my version was a dull greyish and the hair got staticy fast and was all over the place. Dawn from Tekky Toys is AWESOME and is very willing to fix her, I hope she can as I love this prop as it had kids crying last year!

Thank you! I take a weeks vaca and do a little each day, always with an eye on the weather. The good stuff like demonica and the 17 other tekky's don't come out till the morning of halloween. This year will be lots of animation and next year I'll probably have to expand out to the opposite side of the property so it doesn't get too cluttered. But that will be at least two more large scenes. DOH!

The kicker is, by around 1pm the next day- every last bit is gone. Haunted house where? Ah, the mystery! In fact, more than half is brought in around 10:30 pm or so after the tots are done. That is one HARD couple of hours breaking down. I'm exhausted by then. May the weather be on our side.
