I have several props that would benefit from a nice fog effect has anyone used pvc to split their fog machine output? Is there a limit on the length of PVC that can be used. I have a small 400w fog machine.
thanks

i have seen this done before but they use computer fans to push out the fog, and i think you should look into a 1000wat

I did this before. No fans needed if you have about 40 or 50 feet of pipe. I even put back flow flaps and the fog still pushed out of about 6 or 7 outlets. I even had a 400 watt fogger. I suggest having the fogger in the middle with a "Y" or "T" joint splitting the fogger in either direction. The back flow flaps are also very useful to keep the fog that doesn't get pushed out chilling in the pipes until the next "pump" of fog pushes it out. If you don't have them the slightest bi of wind pushes the fog back into your fogger area.

In one of the other fog threads, there's pics of one haunter that installed pvc drain under his lawn and put Ts to the surface at various strategic places. So, yes, it appears to be an easy thing to distribute fog. I haven't tried myself - YET.
