A month or two ago the haunters group I am part of here in CA did corpsing as a make and take...I really liked how my corpse turned out so I figured I would need some way to display him. I decided to build a sarcophagus out of foam and here is the result!! Let me know what you all think. Any suggestions???

SacramentoGal-
Both sarcophagus and corpsing look great! That stone coffin looks like it should weigh a ton. My only suggestion would be to make the skulls on the side stand out more...I almost missed them. Perhaps some aging stains underneath them? Other than that...very nice!

Excellent work. Love the textures and detail. The corpse looks great as well. I would display as is.

Wow, I was so annoyed..... –

Thanks for your comments everyone! Much appreciated.
Grrrr, I was annoyed! My sarcophagus was out near the front of my house and I had just used liquid nails to glue on the two end pieces... I saw some kids walking down the street but didn't pay much attention to them...that is until one of them grabs one of the handles, yanks it and proceeds to drag the sarcophagus down the sidewalk. It broke of course......*SIGH* I stood there for 1 second (the kid was about 8 and should have known better) and when I yelled to him to, "Please leave that alone.", he told me, "Oh, sorry, I thought it was on wheels.". WTH! What did that have to do with anything anyway. Why was he touching other people's property? Where were this kid's parents? Took me a little while to put the pieces back together again....but I guess no harm, no foul, since it's back together again...but still...
I guess we all run the risk of our hard work getting destroyed by people...Has this happened to any of you???

Sorry to hear of the mishap, but I am glad you could put it back together again. I would like to make a smaller version on this to house my fog chiller and fogger. I think it would look really nice in my cemetery. You did a really nice job on yours and inspired me.
