Can anyone suggest what air solenoid I need to use and where is the best place to get a reasonably priced air solenoid for an acid spitter? I'm guessing I need a DC one since I will be using water for it, and probably only a 2 way soldenoid? I'm going to be making the spitter by just inserting a small water line in near the end of the air line so it will siphon the water out at the air blows across it. I just don't want to order the wrong one. Thanks!
Edit: Will something like this that is a 5 way valve work?

Or should I go with something like this which is a 2 way valve?

Are there any pros/cons to using either type (assuming that either of these will work)?

For what you described, a 2 way solenoid should work. Its just an on/off valve. When powered, the solenoid will open allowing air to come through. The 5 way valve would be use for a double acting pneumatic cylinder.
You can use AC as long as the contacts aren't exposed to water, you shouldn't have a problem.

Something like this should work.
