hey there i have a question on how to wire multiple of the micro led,s to one wall wart. plan on using speaker wire and
speaker hookups and make a central box. i know i will need to use some kind of resistor but do i need just one for the main hookup or one for each light. will be using red, blue, and green thanks

Just fill in the information and it should give you a diagram that will work best for you.

    Very good tutorial here:

    LED Pin Spots

Use PVC instead of copper if you can find it. The grey PVC fittings in the Electrical section of Home Depot are cheaper than the white ones in Plumbing. You're best off spraying them with black or dark green (if you don't want to see them in the grass during the day... which is a good way to trip over them) paint at the end anyway.

You should be good with one wall wart. Make sure it's regulated (test it with a multimeter to see if the voltage with no lights hooked up to it is the same as what it says on the specifications). Also check the amperage needed for each LED and the maximum amperage on the wall wart. Most of them are powerful enough for a lot of LEDs but there's some 100-200mA wall warts out there that would only be good for 5-10 lights.

I use this site for designing LED "arrays". It is a little less cluttered maybe. You will need to know the DC voltage you intend to send to the LEDs, the "forward voltage" and the mA (milliamps) rating which you will find in the LED specs for the LEDs you are using and then just plot in the number of LEDs you plan to put into your array. I usually select the button to "draw wiring diagram". It gives you the values for the resistors you will need and where they need to be soldered in. Easy peasy.
