I found this rat (not real) at the dollar store. I bought it because it was new....when I first bought it it was just plain black, so I decided to paint it up to make it look that much better. so here is the pics.... NOW I dont know if I should leave the eyes white or if anyone has any suggestions would be appreciated !!

Really like how it turned out. Much more realistic and noticeable. What type of paint did you use? Model paint like Testers?

I have the one thats down on all fours.. I painted it slightly (drybrushed) with some browns and greys (and it looks VERY real!) I fixed it to a little fishing line, then fix the line to the inside of cupboard door on a shelf (thats at eye level)..I also put down some fresh garlic and loosen the skins right in front of the rat (like its been caught snacking). When the lucky person pulls open the cupboard, the string pulls the rat right at you, along with the garlic skins (which make an awesome little ruffeling sound!)...Its a 100% guaranteed SCREAM if you set it up right!! I had it rigged up and forgot about it, then scared the poo out of myself one time, lol.

Love the improvements a lot. My vote is red, lighted eyes.

Chop, you totally deserved to scare yourself, you little devil!

Very nice transformation! Amazing what a little paint will do. Another vote for red glowing (LEDs or florescent paint under blacklight).
