ok here is what i want to do this year , but i dont want to spends hundreads of dollar on this project ..... in the garage i am doing my frankenstein lab and i would like a strobe light to go off on him with thunder sounds BUT i would also like a strobe light on the porch roof doing it at the same time illuminating the house like lightning .......

NOW i have a christmas gemmy lightshow thing , would it work pluging the 2 strobes in it and playing a thunder cd to make the strobe go off ? that was the easy way i tought of doing it ....also what electic strobe (they need to be electric) are you suggesting i use to do this as i have one indoors and it doesnt need to be super big just to light up the frankenstein and one outdoors (the one outdoors i can try and figure out a way to weather proof it if outdoor strobe dont exsist ....

or would it still have a nice lightning effect with a white (clear) flood light ?

i use to have those cool little effect unit that i got for 12$ 3 years ago but both craped out on me ....

thanks for your insight and help

For $199 US you can get a prop controller from fright props that would do exactly what you want. It has two AC outlets so you can plug two different lights into it. It comes with a thunder and lightning program already (along with some other ones). You can even program it for future scenes. If you are a home haunter its a bargain in my opinion. I have bought two. http://www.frightprops.com/controlle...cofx-0897.html

Or, they also have a different type of controller that you program yourself for cheaper, its $109 US. You have to do a lot more work because you don't get the luxury of recording everything to an SD card, however, thunder and lightning would be really simple. I have one of these as well. This year I am going to program it to just do lightning by shining two spotlights in my backyard towards my house. http://www.frightprops.com/controlle...o-ac-0913.html
