I finally got my Honky the Clown, followed intructions, noticed the wired from his head to plug into the main base was not really long enough to my taste but got it in. I plugged the adapter and NOTHING!! Pulled the adapter from the main motor and reattached, a small spark came out! Of course still not working. Not impress how they put the wires in very cheaply put together. Did anyone order this prop? I know of one other HF member told me he ordered it having the same problem not working either.

Sounds like a return is in order. The wire harnesses certainly are the weakest part of these props which is odd, because it's the most important part of these props. I tell you though- this prop would drive me absolutely MAD within 30 seconds. That sound track is maddening. I could never take that, let alone pay hundreds for it! Congrats to you for even putting up with it! I hope you get it sorted out. Good luck.

I got the prop from Hauntedprops, I preordered it months ago when they had it lower price then anywhere else. I contacted them and they will send another one and pick up my dud.

LOL! I know that sound would drive anyone mad, he would be place far away in a corner. he has a sensor in his hand, so only when passing him.

    Sorry to hear that, Tamster.
You're not having much luck this season, are you? At least you did get your E-crackers.

Tamster return the clown and they should pay the return shiping for it and send you a new one , you can even ask to test it before shiping it since your in canada maybe they can make an effort to do this for you .....if the second one fails like the first and it is a compagny flaw your certainly not gonna be the only one complaining ..very disapointing cause he is a cool and good looking prop i was looking foward to getting him also eventually this season...and if the thing spaked it is also a fire hazard ....i am still wondering if the adaptor provided with it is of adequate voltage for the prop motor .... or a short circuit ....

i undestand how you feel at one point a few years back everything i was buying for halloween was craping out on me or not working at all or broke in transit ....

    LOL yup I got my e-crackers when I wasn't suppose to....go figure
I am not having too much bad luck, this is a 2nd for me on a lifesize prop, so I consider myself lucky on all the other ones. But yes when you're excited and you carefully read the instructions...put in that last screw, pop on the head, plug it in, stand back and watch it do its thing..........well you know, your eye become puppy eyes, then the cursing starts.....LOL

yup, you should of seen me, as I am a person that never believes things won't work, its gotta work, I will test it and figure out the wires, but when it came to the modular it is way out of my league.

I am just hoping it was a dud, I asked the person selling it to test it, and yes he having ups pick my dud clown . He said he shipped today so fingers cross and toes.
