I've just redesigned my haunt to have 3ft wide halls that turn and wind through a 3 car garage. The pathways open up into areas with a theme like a lab, asylum & spider den.
Is this too narrow? Will this be a safety problem

I use a three car garage for a haunted maze, and my pathways are not even that big. I use black plastic hanging from the ceiling for walls, I've only done
it for about 4 years, but I've never had a problem.

Mnimum path of travel according to the Americans with Disability Act is 42". A single point obstruction, such as a doorway, can be 30". You're probably at risk for some litigation hungry attorney to threaten to file a frivalous lawsuit to extort some money from you. It is happening all over California. However, as the ADA is federal law, it can happen in any state.

ADA is not enforceable on private property. As long as you are doing a garage haunt for free there will be no problem.
If you are doing a pro haunt, then you have to follow the ADA Guideline - Notice the word guideline as ADA is not a Law per say.- Brad

I have some wheelchairs come by, so always make sure they fit.
