Needs some ideas on how to display my 3 axis skull. Any good rec? Don't want to go the pirate route. What is a good skeleton body to use? Pictures of others would be great.

The Bucky skeleton is the mostly used,.... being they are $100+ with shipping ( costs rising closer to Halloween ), if cost is a factor right now, you could maybe just set up the head on a bloody table, put it by a headstone / grave scene by itself or even have a static prop creature or grave digger next to it.... if you want to have fun, record a routine that incorporates an actor next to skull & ( timing would be hard - practice timing between the 2 ) & have them banter with the skull head doing most of the talking & actor intervening ( I did that once, was hard, but ToTers really got a kick out of it ! ).
So depends on your haunt theme what you want for a routine. A entry greeter skull or scene action ?When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

Going to be in a grave yard theme. Single skull is all I made this year, first time. Got a few ideas for audio, some greets, stories and jokes. I do have a gravedigger so that idea would work. May order the bucky. Do u know if any of the plastic or rubber skeletons at spirit are worth it? My local store isn't open yet to check it out. May just spend the extra money to get the bucky.

Rubber ones look like crap ( IMO ), plastic Bluckys ( good for static prop corpsing ), eh, don't think they would look good together & would not connect.Bucky's you will have to modify by cutting down & threading large rod tha holds skullcap down, but that is the norm for attaching one of these 3AS's.
You could make a clothed static prop body with the 3AS on it laying inside a freshly dug grave / coffin........just another idea to keep from having to buy a skelly body, but would be worth the additional investment IMO & have a full skell 3AS....When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

4th Q is more than good, unless you want to spend $500-700 for 1st Q...LoL 4thQ is fine, might have to adjust a bone here or there, but as a Halloween prop it's perfect. I have 10 of them & only had 2 with a jaw or arm bone I had to re heat & re bend straighter......
The Skeletonstore http://www.skeletonstore.com/ has been good to us, I check around on EBay sometimes find a good price. I usually pay around $25 on shipping, Bucky's run around $89.-150. pending dealer & time of year ( I stock up on the Waaaay off season. Hi-Rez here also carries them, pretty good price also - [U]http://hi-rezdesigns.com/online_stor...d5fo3ev9csg1r3[/U
FYI - Looks like Sketelton store is out of stock at moment & prices are up, ** Hi-Rez's are better $90. + shippingWhen you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

You could have a PVC creature holding it in his hand.Lots cheaper.
Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

Truthfully I've wondered about the Barney's myself, never had one in person, I think that the only problem may be connecting it. The Bucky's have the large metal spine rod that just needs to be cut down a bit & cut a thread into it to thread the skull on to it with a long nut. I would stay with a Bucky, unless someone here has actually attached a 3AS on a Barney.
Shipping was expensive with Hi-Rez ?? I have found good deals on EBay, I'm in CA, so were ever they come from only cost me $25 shipping.......When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

I was going to be lazy this year with my skulls. I am not in the mood to behead my skeletons so I am going to attach my heads to something like this.
http://www.spirithalloween.com/produ...r-w-gnt-hands/.
It is a groundbreaker reaper with giant hands I figure they will look like rappers and I can either put them on a wall or on the ground.
The only thing is the price, so I will probably make my own bodies.
