This is the first giant spider i am making, if all goes well i plan to make several more over the next year.
The body measures just over three feet long.

Something like that, each leg is three three feet long segments. originally though each one was three five foot long segments. half an inch pvc just doesn't have much stability at that length though so i have to shave it down.

Finished, with a few changes. high winds were making this prop all but imposable to keep up so i had to think up a new method of display. i went with ground breaker because it required no changes to the actual prop. just got some sticks and slide the legs onto them instead of attaching them to the body. winds permitting he'll be walking tall come Halloween.
