Yay! I went to Spirit today and got Frankenstein! I used a 20% off coupon, so he was $255 with tax. Let me tell you, it was worth every penny. Although most might complain that his movement does not live up to his hefty price tag, I have a feeling that his quality and longevity is what will make him worth it. He is quite imposing, as he towers over most. He is so much better in person, and is as realistic as a prop of this caliber can get. Anybody else want to back me up here? By the way, I also would have purchased Rosemary, but they didn't have her in yet. When I asked the girl if she could check if and when they were getting her, she informed me that only 200 out of the 1000+ Spirit stores in the entire country are getting her. If this is true, it's quite absurd. I'm going to be mad if I have to drive a long way to get her, because I am definitely not ordering her online, because the shipping basically cancels out any price reduction the coupon gives. Oh well, at least I have Franky to cheer me up!

i got frankenstein too yesterday with a coupon , this morning i opened the box to set him up and guess what ? no head in the box and no adaptor ....yes no head ....lol i mean come on gemmy brand new box and no head or adaptor in it , i tought i seen it all from gemmy but that tops alot of the other things lol ....

i didnt laugh at all when i opened the box up because i drove 3 hours back and forth to buy him crossing the canadian to usa border ....so my husband had to drive back today and exchange it yep wasted a hole day driving but finally got the new one home (was tested before leaving the store of course) and he is cool , everyone as the right to either like him or dont like him but i like him even if he doesnt do alot of thing , i always loved frankenstein so to me he is a collectible prop.

i too was told the same thing about rosemary and i hope thats not trough because i sure dont want to order her online either . but i did want her

i did get a few other props their all pretty cool

so here is a video of frankenstein his arm motor is quiet he make 4 diffent sounds growling electrical shock sounds one is like a surgical electric saw kinda sound or vaccum type sound hard to tell and growling ... (sorry you hear my dog also in the background lol)

oh and the box he comes in is HUGE oversize he is a good 6 +foot tall so even if he comes down half it's size, it is a bigger box then the box from regular gemmy life size like their edwardian butler the box of frankie is bigger .

Arrg! I want him so bad! But my wife would kill me if I get another life sized thing!


BTW, he sound EXTREMELY loud.

That's absolutely true. But I still don't think he trumps Resurrection Mary from last year. I have her too, and she is ridiculously loud.
