Zombie from Creepshow Build Thread

Hi ,

Started to make the Nathan Grantham zombie from Creepshow to go with the Nathan Grantham (Creepshow) Headstone I have already made.

The hands seemed like a good (and easy) place to start . I used bits and pieces of different tutorials found in the forums to make these. There are more photos and a DVD screen capture of Nathan in my Forum album.

I will update this thread as I continue. This will have movement and sound (with any luck) when finished .

Thanks dept1031 and Haunted Timber for your comments. The hands were made from scratch,you can see more pics in the Forum album .

Finished the head/skull and now on to the chest.

I have finished the chest and arm bones. The pieces came from an old Halloween costume ,but they were too gory,needed to make them match the rest of the "fresh from the ground look" of the hands and head. I used a heat gun to soften the material so the chest could bend to fit the torso shape and the arm bones could roll around pool noodles. As always,more pics in Forum album.

Looking really good...nice and earthy. I like your color choices. I'm working on a similar type of thing at the moment as well. Pool noodles are some of the handiest things on the planet! I had one that had ribs in it, (vs, just smooth and round). I sliced it lengthwise, and made , RIBS with it!

"I want my cake !" thanks for looking and commenting Diabolik. I have been transferring that audio from the DVD to MP3 to use with the prop.

Chop Shop, "nice and earthy" is how I hope the final thing ends up looking . You're right about the pool noodles , you can use them anywhere . Good idea with making ribs out of them , I will be borrowing that one.

Added the bits and pieces to a wood and pvc frame . Behind the chest is a rounded wire frame for support . Working on the wiper motor , audio , clothing and triggering next .
