I'v been using the Jolt animatronic for about 3 years and always had to set it off manually. I was wondering if anybody knows if a regular Halloween sensor would work on it?

If your triggering it manually a push button contact switch, then you should be able to use a mat type trigger. A PIR or a reflective beam type trigger, the controller would need a 3rd wire sensor input....

I would think this has a controller for his routine. Is it a Maestro controller, or older stlye? Some older controllers can accept a male input 1/8 jack that is wired to a PIR sensor. I have a Maestro controller with that exact setup.

It's manually set off by a button on the back of the amp,I'm guessing any sensors or controllers would be plugged into the amp.

I'm sure it wasn't intended to just be set off manually by that button on the back.... would have to be a controller of some sort & access to connecting other triggers to it. especially a pro prop like that.....

If you control each movement with the pushbutton then you would need a prop controller. If you press it once and a routine plays until you hit it again then you have one. Chances are you just have a momentary switch wired to an outlet that actuates the cylinder when you press the button. All you need to do if buy a prop controller and wire this pushbutton to the inputs of the controller. Then you would program your routine and add a sensor to the prop controller instead.

Send Southern Haunter a pm and ask him. He just bought that prop.
