I don't own a fogger and am trying to stay as low budget as possible. I'm planning to borrow my MILs. She uses is for plays and what not, at her school. I don't know the brand, wattage, any of that. When I asked her if she had fog juice, she replied with something along the lines of "Yeah, it was donated to me about 10 years ago". Yikes! Should I try it or just buy fresh?
Also, I plan to run it inside, pointed down the stairs into the main party areas.
Will that work?
Do I need a chiller?
Is there a certain juice that will work better than others for that? I looked at some of the Froggy's Fog, but the low lying stuff says outdoors and there's a CryoFreeze variety that doesn't give much detail. Since it will be inside it has to be a "clean" fog.
What about timers?
A bonus would be something I can also use outside on TOT night, if I have leftovers of juice.
I really am I fog noob, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Froggy's does make an indoor/low lying fast dissipating fog solution. Regular or Freezin fog is for outdoor use and would fog out the house quickly.
Undead and loving it!

I say yes to chilling it, especially if you are setting it up at the top of the stairs. You can't go wrong with Froggy's. But you just might want to go by spirit when they open and grab some of their juice????? Also..... If you have smoke detectors, make sure you disable them before the party.

So Frogger's is worth it, but the Spirit stuff will work just fine? Would the medium density stuff last longer, hence having to run the machine less?

I will second this note: BE careful around smoke detectors. Fog machines and smoke detectors don't play well together...(there is a story there, involving a fogger and a hotel room...I'll leave it at that)...Enjoy!

Using a glycol based fogger indoors can leave an oily residue on surfaces. So be prepared!

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

You should def test it out before your party and see for yourself just how quickly a house can be "fogged out." If you have an attic fan, better have that on standby with a couple windows open. I had a fog machine in my walkway haunt and every time I opened the front door, fog just poured into the house and fogged it up pretty good. And I second the motion of disconnecting your smoke detectors, from personal experience as well
