Time to take our party to the next step this year with lighting.
Can anyone share some tips that are not too expensive and fun, something that can add some zing, or ommff to our already over the top haunted house party - indoor and out. We have a wrap around porch with pot lighting.

    Thanks all!

Are you looking to light up props or provide mood lighting?
    Is it Halloween yet?

ou can never go wrong with black lights, but avoid the incandescent bulbs. If ambient light comes from hidden black lights, you can then use colored spot lights to highlight.

Don't use any lights that you would use the rest of the time of the year....

so have orange, red, blue or green mini lights around the house and porch. Don't mix the lights or it will look Christmassy....one room red, another blue, porch orange...etc

I like to use orange rope light to lay out the path I want the tots to walk.
