We have a set of encyclopedias from the 1950s (don't have the info on what brand they are with me right now) and don't really have anyplace to store them. I'm considering prop uses for them, but even then I'd probably have to sell whatever props I make out of them after Halloween. Any ideas? We've looked up what to do with them as far as donating, etc, but libraries don't want ones that old and I don't think they're collectibles. I was thinking a haunted bookcase or spell books... too bad they're so heavy or I'd just offer to send them to someone.

I have a set myself...1970s.. beautiful. Brown with black and gold gilding. In great shape. Like you, I have no clue what to do with them yet. They are outdated now that the world wide web is here. I'll be interested in knowing what you decide to do with yours.

Haunted book case! Totally would do that if I could bring myself to gut a book.
