Hello! I am planning on making a giant spider using trash bags. http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/trash...antula-665445/
Now the problem is, I would like to be able to mount it on my roof without damaging my house! Any thoughts on this? I have a fairly low roof and gradual slope. Thanks and have a great day!

We put an inflatable spider on the roof a couple of years ago. We just mounted the bracket for the inflatable to a small piece of board and then drilled holes to attach ropes. We tied the ropes to the dormers (there were already hooks on the dormer frames). That worked pretty well!

Could you attach a rope or two that matches roof color all the way across roof and is attached to trim on side of roof so that there are no actual holes in roof.

This would work great if only I didn't live in a semi

Do you have anything you could use to tie it off?

I know this may sound tacky but I put a inflatable spider on my roof last year and I used bricks at end of rope so I didn't damage roof and u never notice bricks at night but not that noticeable really in days time
