Thread: Signs for "you are on Camera"

So, I just installed a closed circuit camera for my front yard, and now for the hard part... How do I let people know it is there... in a funky and cool way. I have a blank head stone ready to go if I need, but I would like to do something a bit more creative. What does everyone else do... pics please

This is my favorite rules and warning sign -- it's from a commercial haunt, but I love it none-the-less. If snarky and in-your-face fits the mood of your haunt/yard, something like this could work for you.

If you want subtle, I'd go with the tombstone, maybe with the epitaph of something like "the last guy caught on cam tipping our cows"... If you want obvious deterrence, the neon "smile you're on camera" is the way to go; but I tend to think that those spoil the mood more often than not.

If you're a fan of the classic BBC series 'The Prisoner', you could always go with: 'Be Seeing You' on a tombstone, in the same font used for all the signs in The Village:



Underneath, you could have the image of a videocamera or even an eyeball. Just a thought.

Why do you want them to know it's there? To deter thieves and vandals? Trust me, in my hood, the thieves and vandals would just smile for the camera as they're stealing my stuff!!
