Toying with the idea of adding a scent to my fog this year. Last year I built a very successful trash can chiller, so I want to take it up a notch. Do these even work well?
First question: Do you have to have your nose in the fog to smell it? I'm just wondering if my low-lying fog doesn't come near the TOT-ers, will they even smell it?
Second question (this might be harder to answer in text): How does the Froggy's Swampy Marsh smell? I think I kind of want that bog / peat smell in my graveyard.

Can't wait to hear more responses from people who've actually used the scent additive! I had my husband in hysterics as I was reading off the different choices last night. I can't imagine wanting your yard to smell like "charred corpse", and is there anything funnier than "cannibis hemp"? "Swamp marsh" sounds promising though!

Eyegore (aka Dr Frakenscents) has some little test tubes of the stuff you can order for like .79 each so you can see what smells you like.

Got my first sent from Froggys this year. Have not opened it yet, but I expect it will be worth it, or interesting at least. All part of the plan to give trick or treaters a full range assault on the senses -sight, sound, smell...

I bought the rain forest scent from Froggy's and I really like it. It smells like a wet forest floor. Real earthy and natural, and goes well with other fall scents.
I was afraid of some "fruity" smell of some sort, but this works well.

Having any sort of smell to add to ur gaunt is a awesome plus! I loved when i went to universal they had smells or burning bodies in freddy krugers boiling room. And forest like smells in jason vorhees house.. Really made it seem real. Good luck on ur smells!!!

We added the Froggy's marsh smell to our fog two years ago and it was extremely effective. However, some folks at our party complained that it smelled nasty (the fogger was outside but the smell is so pervasive that you could smell inside as well). Last year we decided to stick to just plain ol' uncented fog. It's cool stuff but just beware you'll get what you ask for!

We have been using scented fog for a few years now. If you mix swamp with gothic you get "graveyard." Oh yeah, you can smell it. But I don't think it is too overpowering, but definitely adds another sense to the whole entire scene. WARNING---- I have had some scents from a a cheaper source has clogged my fog machines in the past. I ONLY use Froggies fog and scents! These may cost a bit more but I believe they are totally worth it!
