Calling on the powers that be ... your input and suggestions and expertise will be gratefully appreciated. I’d like to make some pvc candles using Great Stuff. I purchased a can moments ago and have read all the label instructions. To my dismay, it says “one time use should be expected.” Have any of you clever folks found a way around this? I’m sure I won’t be using a whole can for a few candles. Thank you in advance for any/all suggestions.

Get rubber gloves when you use it, When you are done you can take the screw cap off and either clean it out with Acetone/Nail polish remover if you can get it in there. Then cover the top of the bottle with plastic. If it does dry up in the top of the bottle or nossle ive used a wire hanger to poke down thru it to free it up again and re-used.
Thats just my two cents, hope it helps

After past experiences recently, always use latex rubber gloves like the ones you find at the dollar store and a cheap pair of work glasses. The stuff SUCKS to get on your skin.. I know from experience and a lot of scrubbing and a lot of exposure to nail polish remover.
I have used it more then once, just clean out the connect sprayer and once dried on the top of the can take off it off easily with your hand.

I've used mine over a week. The stuff will leak out the end after you spray it. So make sure you have paper towel or something to put under the nozzel. I just leave it and it hardens inside. When I need it again, I just cringle the nozzle a little and it loosens it up inside and I just pull the excess out from what is left on the nozzle end. That way it blocks any air from getting all the way in.

I clean the screw on tube dispenser with some long pipe cleaners I have left over from an old Halloween project. I've used a can over several weeks this way. Gloves are good to wear too when I remember to put them on.
Boo!

I've read that some people stuff a pipe cleaner into it once they're done, then pull it out once it's hardened to use it again.
