Bryan316,
Just wondering if you ever got around to setting up your laser vortex to run off one power supply. I'd like to set mine up that way as well. Any info \ pictures would be great.

Is there any danger of this type of laser damaging your eyes. I would hate to blind my TOTs with a laser vortex.

Hauntcrazy,
First let me say I am NOT a doctor or laser expert, but I would say there is very little chance of any harm as the laser is very low power and the light is reflected. I used one of mine last Halloween and there were no issues at all.

That's good because I just bought 5 of these. Netherworld in Atlanta last year had a hall with a laser vortex. You had to walk through the vortex. Of course there were zombies dressed in black waiting for you on the other side. Of all the high tech props they had, that had to be one of the scariest and easiest to reproduce.

Where do u place the fog machine behind, in front?

JacobIrion,
Doesn't matter too much as long as the fog is blowing into the reflected light from the laser. I have put a fog machine behind the Laser Vortex and also have tried using two fog machines placed on each side. The bigest factor is the direction of the wind.
Happy Haunting!!

oogieboogie412,
I don't have a step by step, but there is a parts list in this post as well as some very good information from other members. I would recommend reading all the posts. You can pretty much figure out the whole build just by looking at the posted pictures. The hardest part might be (and really not hard IMO) hard wiring the laser. Another option would be to just run the laser off of batteries.
