I purchased a black blow mold bird bath base at my local Menards tonite in their halloween section.
They were on clearance for $5 as they are leftovers from last season.
It is just like the picture below except its black (and doesn't have the bowl)...

Anyone have any idea what these were designed to hold or any suggestions as to how to use them for a prop?
    Your ideas are appreciated....
    Thanx

I bought one of these last year, put a small cauldron on it for the ToT candy, and my little witch next to it.

Just wanted to add that I filled the bottom of the base with sand, about 10 inches deep, to make it bottom heavy.

Didn't want it to tip over on the kids.

I like what you did with the cauldron. What did you attach it with (type of glue, etc.) May try & stop by our Menards today. Thanks for sharing!

I simply attached it by drilling 3 drywall screws down thru the bottom of the cauldron into the birdbath base. Holds fine. The cauldron was then filled with about 50 treat bags full of candy, and the whole thing was still bottom heavy

These are some cool ideas. Does anyone know if you can paint the white ones and if so what kid of paint to use. Thanks!
