So I was thinking of creating a cemetery caretaker prop to oversee the activities in my (yet to be constructed) graveyard. I figured that if I build a caretaker/gravedigger dude, then I will have to do the cemetery, right?

Anyway, I knew I wouldn't have the time (or skills) to sculpt a head/face for him in time for this years activities, so I went on a search online for a mask to use for the prop.

Now I had a major decision to make, buy the ultimate scary mask and the children don't eat this week, or find a bargain mask and alter it as needed to make it work.

I stumbled across this fine fellow that seemed to have a facial expression that I could work with.

Can you imagine this guy straining to look (not with his current ping pong ball eyes) out into the darkness, with a nice cap, add some hair and eyebrows, and a weathered old jacket, and holding up a antique flickering lantern?

The second picture reveals his true identity. Not bad for $15.00 delivered, huh?

I think that's a perfect expression for a cemetery caretaker!

That's what I thought. The mask face might be saying, "nyuck nyuck nyuck," but I'm hearing, "hit me in the head with a hamma?"

My sincere apologies to the non-Stooges fans....

I'm afraid of what you may have started by adding a Curly quote.

    My favorite: I can't see, I can't see!" "What's'a'matter!?" "I got my eyes closed."

There is hope for the world. I watched an episode with my 10 year daughter recently, she couldn't stop laughing.

Okay, just one more. Curly and Moe:

"You mean I'm um-day in pig language?" "You're um-day in any language."
    Shhhh. Wait. What was that?

My 16 year old son requested that I cover Curly's face in the garage (sitting on a shelf). He's getting creeped out by it. I guess I bought the right mask, huh?
