You say you have a detached carport? How about something jumping down from the top or from the inside of the roof area? Or a mirror set up some where & they see it jump at them from behind? faux windows are good ones too. or fake door. Still thinking

Jmping from the top is cool, only problem is tall people. I don't want any injuries.

Do you have a theme for the haunt?

We don't really have a set theme this year. Pretty much anything goes.

Could you have it pop up out of some bushes/shrubs?

There aren't any bushes, trees or shrubs close to our haunt. Although, that is a very good idea.
