Zombie Pirate Drinking - Video

For once I had nice weather (read no rain) during my afternoon break. So I broke out my latest display to test the water flow. After the shot the video I installed a larger drain hose. The smaller hose could not handle the amount of water the pump put out and it built up and overflowed at times in the mouth. She is pretty much done. I hope you like her, I think the kids will.

Nice..I made a drinking pirate for this year as well. You really got the flow I was looking for. Mine doesn't quite have that much... What size pump and tubing are you using?

Jimmyzdc: I'm using a Sunterra Model 137016, it has a 320 gallon per minute capacity. I bought it on Amazon. One of my goals for the build was a good stream of water coming out of the bottle. One trick I found on how to improve the water "flow" (read smooother looking) out of the bottle (mines a plastic Sobe bottle) was to have the tube (1/2" BTW) go into the bottle at a angle with the water flowing towards the rear (away from the mouth) of the bottle instead of the water flowing straight into the mouth. This also makes the water in the bootle move around and gives the impression of it being full.

Good idea on making it point backwards. I never thought of that. I'm also using a 320GPM pump but using smaller tubing. I believe its 3/8 so I can fit it inside the Barney arm to hide it. I'll try reversing the direction and see how that works.
