Thread: Hissing Skull Sculpture

Started this guy last night, hope to finish him today.

**For the other sculptors out there~ I started to take pics when I walk away for the night, then look at them before I see the sculpt again. It seems to help with spotting things I want to change or add to. Just something I found to be helpful to me personally (I'm no pro). It must be beneficial looking at it in 2D or something.

I wish I had some acrylic teeth to pop in there, because sculpting them is pretty boring.

I was thinking a fogger prop, (where he spews forth fog), or , a hissing tube flipping about from the mouth, just spitting air. Not sure yet. For now, he's called "the hisser"

Doto and Ravens Hollow,,(heh, ya, i'm making a push to get a bunch stuff done soon). Thanks. I'm a lil fuzzy on what "pro" actually entails when it comes to this stuff. As a main source of income? That would be incredible to me, someday perhaps...not sure how to make that a reality.

Anyhow, here the finished sculpt. I know the lighting is a bit overly dramatic, lol, but i'm tweaking my studio lighting and testing a new tripod. Trying to get it set up so I can fire away on future stuff and not have to mess with the settings every time.

Mold it up tomorrow! Good Times!

It looks incredible!! As far as I'm concerned, you might as well be pro. I'm amazed with your work.

Aren't we all (pushing hard at this stage ). As for the pro comment: it was a little bit of humor, with a bit of seriousness. Professional results speak for themselves amigo, and now you just need to market them!

Lookin good... If we could anyhting we wanted, I would suggest some pyrotechnics. BUT IM NOT... Fog or a water sprayer or a high pressure air blast would be cool

@ znelson ~ Fire sounds hot...lol. Spitting fire sounds better. Crispy tot's, not so hot....lol.

Here's the first latex pull. I'm diggin how he came out. You can slip a hand behind him and make him talk pretty well too, lol. Gotta love this stuff!
