Ok here is the deal..... I need to know how to make a fake blood that ... is not sticky when it dries, stays shiney and looks fresh. Not a dried blood look.

I absolutely LOVE Palenights fake blood and I would just keep buying that but it is just to expensive especially when I need lots!

The stand by recipes with the corn syrup is the look I am going for BUT I want it to paint on and dry.. be durable for props, not rub off or flake.

Oh and.... water based.

I thought about starting with a water based gloss polyurethane .. but what would I add to it? acrylic paint? Anyone tried this?
