    Hey Folks,

Looking for some electrical help tonight. I got the Bell direct wire quick connect 12v power outlet shown for $4 at a local Bldg. 19. It is intended to be installed in an automobile, with connection made to the vehicle's fuse box, to provide a 12v terminal block for connection of neon lights, directional lights, or other low power items. One wire of the power cord, the fused one, is supposed to be inserted into the +12v socket of an open fuse socket and the other to a ground screw.

I'd like to use this as a terminal strip for connecting several sets of LED spots I'm constructing. Can this be hacked to connect to a 12v wall wart? I guess the presence of the ground wire is confusing me.

    Thanks

Sure, just connect 12+ toigether and the 12- together. I would make surew the wall wart is regulated though .That will keep the voltage from varying.
