Thread: Animated skull groundbreaker corpse build!!!

Hey all,

im working on a new project to kill time since im waiting for some stuff.
I decided to make a groundbreaker corpse but im no good at paper mache so im trying something different. it will be a brown corpse and i will use great stuff on what i have now but instead of the bubbly effect im going to squeeze it ao it lok like teared flesh YUM!!!

i took the bag o bones from i bought earlier this year and opened it up. modified it alitte bitby mounting the head on a pvc cap and leaving the battery control panel open. id like to moify that to run ac power though so if someone can help with that?

Heres some progress pics and i hope to start the great stuffing tommorow! then i think im going to stain the corpse and it should look awesome when done.

P.S!!! i know there are no shoulders i plan to build that out because it would be to flimsy!! so im going to build it out with great stuff!!

To run this from AC you're going to need a DC adapter (wall wart) that convert AC to DC. How many batteries and what kind does it normally use. Typically each battery is 1.5 volts so if it used 2 AA batteries then it needs 3 volts DC, 3 is 4.5 and so on....get a DC adapter with the correct voltage and you can use that to run your prop with the wart.

This is why I save all my adapters when I throw things away. I have a variety of adapters and voltages that I've accumulated over the years. They come in very handy.

When using Great Stuff, you can "Smooth" it out somewhat. Just put on a pair of laytex gloves, just don't let it sit too long before you try it.

Thanks everyone. i will check the batteries and voltage i think they are AAA. I will be using great stuff tommorow i believe when i get everything else done!
