So I have been reading up on all the cool ideas of the PVC candles and as much as I think they look so awesome, cause they do! I kept looking at my coffee creamer container every morning and thinking " I know I can make something from this" so I saved up a bunch of them and decided to try and make a candle out of it. so here is what I have so far. I haven't painted them yet. But I just wanted to share with you guys, my idea.

Those look great! They actually remind me of a project I saw yeeeears ago that involved using a bunch of various shape/size plastic tubs - butter tubs, whipped cream tubs, anything from the recycle bin- and stacking them together to make an antique looking lamp. Sprayed black with a hurricane shade on top, it was a great look.

Those are nice cause the bottle gives them a nice shape. I made some last year of toilet and paper towel rolls. If I find a pic I will post it.

I like the idea of the creamer containers. It's the organic shapes that look really good. Sometimes the perfect geometric shapes, like the PVC pipe, start to look artificial or staged. I spend a lot of time with a drum sander making the tops irregular.
The shape of the creamer bottles makes me think of old hand made candles that have distorted after years of burning.
Great idea and recycling of the containers makes it a "Green" Halloween decoration.

also, I forgot to mention. I cut the tops off these bottles and then flipped the lid over so the tea light has something to sit on. the cool part is I can still open the lids and I will be filling them with sand or rocks for weight so they don't blow over.

I agree with Jack Skellington, I like the slightly wonky shapes it looks rustic and old. I can't wait to see the finished product.
