I just used the ol' 7 mil plastic, heat gun, and cherry stain technique. I think it turned out pretty good for the time invested and was much faster than waiting for latex to dry. I have not done the legs yet because they will not be visible for the setup I have in store for it, but I can always change that later.

Yeah, I saw this technique from Allen of stiltbeast studios. Its an awesome effect that is super easy, I plan on doing 4 once I can get my hands on some.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

I love this way to corpse too! I have wondered if this method waterproofs the props more. I have fooled around a little trying it out but never finished a project yet to see for myself.
