So I need a decent amount of burlap to cover my scarecrow's head, and drape over the body some. Jeans and a sweatshirt are not scary for a scarecrow. Burlap is creepy

I've looked everywhere I can think and cant find any burlap thats large enough to use the way I need to. Anyone know where I can find some?

In my area Joannes carries it. As does Pat Catans. I think Ice found burlap in most craft stores. Except Michaels.

Hrm my joanns doesnt carry it. Or, rather, I didnt see it and the woman I asked didnt know. I'll see if another in the area does.

Is it in the bolt fabric section? Or packaged elsewhere?

You can special order it from smaller hardware stores. I got my roll from ACE Hardware. I also got large burlap bags from uline.

    Hope that helps

Your local Home Depot should have decently large sheets of it in the landscape fabric area (fairly cheap as I recall.) http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...&Ntpc=1&Ntpr=1

Thanks for the link, my local Home Depot apparently doesn't carry it so I ordered 4 7'x7' packs for $16 and free shipping. I'm always looking for burlap at the last minute and usually by then it's all gone for the season.
    Boo!

Most local garden centers should have it or be able to order it. That's where I got mine.
