Hi, I was offered a Dr. Shivers prop which I have been looking for a long time, only one problem with it is his eyes don't light up. Does anyone have this prop and had these problems? Is it fixable?

Anything can be fixed if you are willing to invest the time and effort doing it the right way. Now I am not going to tell you to do this, but my shivers had the same problem and I just smacked the backside of its head and poof... They started working again... Once again I don't recommend this but it worked for me!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

Good old American ingenuity - if it doesn't work, get a bigger hammer!

LOL! well I don't think a bigger hammer will do it, I like him too much, I also notice his beaker is not lighting either

You have to take off his head and use a dremal cut a hole in the back of his head under the his hair and then fix the wires that are attached to his eyes. I had a friend help me with it, same thing happened to his mouth. we just had to re-solder the wires. When we cut the hole we cut it in one piece hot clued it back and glued his hair back down and you cant even tell.

I came home from work and I bit the bullet, I took off his head and looked at the wires under his neck. wow whole whack of wires and sorted them. I turned on Dr. Shivers while having his head off to see the wires were stuck, pulled or ripped. Sure enough there was one white wire snapped off. I re-soldered the white wire together and wella his eyes lit up!!!! thank goodness it was just one wire LOL I did not have to mess with his eyes, they were moving so I did not have to cut a hole in his head.......
Thanks everyone for chiming in and trying to help me. Dr. Shivers is back in business.
