I don't know what would really turn out to be cheaper...continuing to use batteries or buying adaptors for my 6+ animatronics! I guess the adaptors are much easier to work with, they provide full power to each prop (I know with batteries, the Creepy Caretaker's lights dim like crazy), and the props will never die in the middle of the night.
Should I really spend $10 extra per prop plus another $8 for each footpad? I'M BLOWING THE BUDGET!!![]()

I babysat TEN of them last halloween, all on batteries. NEVER again. I took the 100 dollar hit and got the power adapters just after halloween. I spent a lot of money on batteries only to throw them out. I could have used that for the power adapter budget. I started my props going around 5:30pm, before dark so I could enjoy them and the tots too. By around 8pm or so, just when it was getting busy, they started running down. Never again. What a drag it is to install fresh batteries when it's all setup. The only one to make it to the finish line without slowing down? The tombstone lifter won the prize! I need a couple more this year and I will get them. The adapters should be included if you ask me. But so be it. Now I'm free to enjoy- not work. Well, there IS fog juice to look after though!

Lol, prepare yourself, watch the dvd if you can. It helps alot to know how it goes together and looks before you pop open those boxes.
Ghost Face is my new favorite prop that we have because the motion, the phrases, and even the phone all make an awesome character. I love it, and I want one lolWe stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

sry for the double post
Anyways, the way i look at it, I'm a technical/diy kinda guy. Power adapters are something I am always looking for, so I buy them when I can. If the props dies after 3 season, well I got an adapter to use to power a different prop. In the end I think they are well worth it.....unless you wanna run power to all your props using old computer power supplies. However that my friend is a complicated solution for an easy fix.We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us
