Hey guys,
I'm really wanting to add some skulls to my fence posts that light up but string lights wont work because of spacing and glow in the dark really wont cut it because I want them to stand out.
Of course cost is an issue. With 24 fence posts I really don't want to go over 10 bucks a skull at absolute worst and battery powered is probably best.
Does anyone have any ideas??

Oh! I have a good suggestion!
I found paper maché pumpkins at Michaels a few years' ago, and I use the pumpkins for the tops of my fence posts.
I used the cheapy flicker lights inside and they look really great (considering it's all cardboard...
)
Cheap graveyard columns - cardboard!
They had skulls as well - with the mouths and possibly the eyes (can't remember for sure) cut out and they were something like 1-2 dollars if I remember right...Last edited by Frankie's Girl; 08-12-2011 at 08:59 AM.

Last year I bought the plastic jawless skulls from partycity. I think they were about $6 retail. I cut a hole in the bottom and put flameless tealights in them. Those light the whole skull up.

Dollar store for plastic skulls works great. We had some cheap "tiki torches" that were plastic with a skull on top. But overall boring. We cut a slit in the back and slid in one of the pumpkin lights that changes colors. It was really bright and two of them were on our entry way to walk through.
