Hey hey,

Im going to be buying the planet christmas controller and im a complete newbie with this sequence light thing....do i need to buy the software from LOR as well or is there a program i can download that works just as well?

having done numerous light shows for Christmas, I can say that I actually have background in this area. the planet Christmas controller by itself is not enough. it is a slave board. what you need is a board that can act as a director board. the director boards are available in the 16 channel starter package, as well as the showtime series. if you have never used LOR before, you will probably want the 16 channel package. you can then add more channels via planet Christmas boards. keep in mind the director board is a 20 amp board and the planet Christmas board is 15 amps. if you overload the board, it will pop a fuse in the board itself.

ahhh i see, yeah i dont think id need more then 16 channels. Alright so the starter kit it is lol
