Hi,
I was thinking since its early in the season & I have time (or so I think), that I could build a wooden crate that has chains on it & bangs around. I could control it via motion sensors that I already have for home automation.
Any suggestions on a parts list? I would like it to be rain resistant so I can keep it out for a few nights before Halloween.
Thanks,
Rich

What you're describing is the handy-dandy monster in a box or MIB prop. If you do a search you should get quite a few threads detailing builds and suggestions...

there are tons more, but those were the first ones that came up for me that seemed relevant. Search button is on the upper right.

Also, you might want to check out big lots' "create your own haunted hedge". I'm going to be building a MIB using this as the guts.
