Hey guys, I just wanted to know where's the best place to find a good quality fog machine. Could you recommend any sites or stores that have them? Thanks

It all depends on how fancy you want to get. There are a lot of places that sell them but they are all different wattages and quality. You can get a fog machine at Wal-Mart CHEAP around Halloween time but that is just what they are. Cheap. 400W and two of mine broke after only one years use. If you are talking more expensive yet better quality, Froggy's Fog website has a lot to choose from and if you don't like the prices, you can always copy and paste the brand name into the google search box. Also try Amazon and Ebay. Hope this helps.

It all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a good quality fog machine that you can use year after year, you might want to check online.

If you want a cheap fog machine that might get you through Halloween and if you're lucky a couple Halloweens, then check Wal-mart, Garden Ridge, Big Lots, etc.

    I bought mine on ebay.

I bought my VEI 950 Superfoggers from coolstuffcheap.com

They've got a variety of foggers there

    Great customer service

If you just want fog for a single prop, like a coffin or a MIB, then go with the 400W ones. But if you want to shut down traffic on the culdesac, expect to pay for it.

BTW: If you buy a good fogger, buy good juice to go in it.

Thanks for the feedback,. I have one more question, are there certain types of fog juices that are best/worse, or does it matter?

I use Theatre Effects, others swear by Froggy's. The stuff they sell at wallmart and target is the not as good stuff. I wouldn't think that Spirit or Halloween City sell the "good stuff" either.

We had a fog off a couple years ago at the Rocky Mountain Haunters Annual Gathering and Theatre Effects beat out the rest, including Froggys. We tested different solutions in all the different foggers and you can see noticable differences between the good juices and the not so good juices.

If you're going to buy a 400W fogger to stick in a coffin, then you don't really need the good stuff...

I'm not an expert on foggers or juice. Actually buying my first one this year. Although I'd love to buy a super awesome fogger, it's just not in the budget. But through my web browsing, these are the cheapest 'average' foggers I've found.

    400 watt $29.99 - PartyCity.com
    700 watt $44.99 - SpiritHalloween.com
    1,000 watt $59.99 - PartyCity.com

I use The Fog Machine brand. Its easily one of the best fog machines for the money. Ive had it for years and it still pumps hard. I would suggest finding one on ebay.

I'm a big fan of the VEI 950 supper fogger. Had mine for years. It has a continuous output which is a must have. DON'T buy the cheapies from the stores you wont be happy. Spend the $300 and get yourself a good one. My ultimate favorite it the Roso's but there are very pricey. Regarding the fog juice I've had good success with froggy's fire and rescue/freezing fluids. Rosco makes one of the best fluids but again they are expensive.
