    Glad you like it!

I had an announcement up in the Announcement forum, but it's gone now... Looks like I forgot to read the directions regarding 1 post every 30 days. Oops.

Here is a picture of a projected skull onto a treetop, the effect is even better in real life.

That is just way cool ! This has a lot of uses, I love the tree use. & tied in to program to run it thru standard servo command is awesome, damn, now I really need to buy a newer system or upgrade the hell out of my present pc.

OK OK - I am on Monkey Basic right now and WOW!! I am getting a cup of coffee and looks like I am in for the night learning learning learning! Gee - does this mean I can hack our son's RC10 car servo? So much to learn - so little time.... I envy your brain.

I have an iPhone and an old iMac that will be swept clean soon and available to use exclusively for Halloween props. Can we use our old faithful iMac or will she crash and burn?

Hi Susie, let's go through these one by one:

VirtualHaunt works in conjunction with VSA, if you can program a 3-axis skull, you can program a virtual 3-axis skull. Take a look at my tutorials regarding VirtualHaunt.

No need to hack an RC car, you don't need any servos at all (unless you want to build a real (non-virtual) 3-axis skulls.

The iPhone can be used in conjunction with Helmsman, which allows you to control VSA. All of the software is actually Windows PC based (I just develop on a Virtual Windows system on my Mac

I think that covers your questions, but please feel free to ask more

This is really an amazing piece of software. I've been playing around with it using the routines from 6 of our 3 axis skulls. One of our props also has an arm that is animated and Virtual Haunt will do the animated arm as well. The software will allow me to actually preview and tweak some of our routines without having to have all of the servos running which saves them considerable wear and tear.

The use of the software for a projection is super slick too. I wonder how long it will be before Nelson adds some more head designs?
