Thread: Fake Fire or Alternative

Hi there! I'm planning on putting up a ring of "dancing" ghost in my front yard. I would like them to be encircling some type of fake fire but am not sure I will be able to do this. Does anyone have a super easy and inexpensive method of building a small fake fire? Alternatively, does anyone have any other ideas of what the ghosts could be dancing around? This needs to be child friendly as well.

Maybe try a bed of fake coals like this:

Maybe make a ring of coals, and dig a hole for one of those fake flame cauldrons in the center of it.

here's a trick. use dry ice and water. shine a red or yellow light into it with fire SFX into it.
