Thread: Specter Projector question-- anyone have one?

I was wondering if anyone has a Specter Projector like in the video below. I think Lowes sells them among other places.

I was wondering what happens if you take the image slide out? What does the projected light it look like? Does it still have the ripple effect visible? I am wondering because I've been looking for something to create a rippling/water effect that is not very expensive, and from the video below it looks like these things have a ripple effect to them so I am wondering if I could take out the image and just use a blue filter over it to give me the effect I want...

Anyone?

From the look of it i would say that there are 2 filters in the projector, one with the static witch and one with a small motor that spins giving the ripple effect you should be able to pop the witch out and replace her with a blue gel to change the color and keep the ripple effect.

it hard to say with out seeing the actuall projector.

I have one and bought one for another haunter but I can't remember because I got mine last year.I will pull mine out tongiht and see for you.I bought a water projector for 60 something a few months back it is awesome going to use it in my pirate theme.It is called abyss.

I would love to get the Abyss or H20 DJ lights that look like water but they're too high for my budget... I mean I could get one but then I wouldn't have enough left to get the other stuff I need for my party.
