Before I go on I just think it is real important to tell people that fog to me is one of the best parts of Halloween. In saying that I am real big with my fog machines and how many I have had and still have. I have the Antari ice 101 low lying fog machine, Chauvet 1700, Chauvet 1300, V-920 party fogger, and crap loads of those 400 watt ones from Wal-Mart but honestly none of them compare to what I bought yesterday.
I stepped up and bought the Antari Z-3000 II yesterday and it is still hard to believe that a fog machine can make that much smoke. My cousin and I tested it and I know people say they fog up their neighborhood, but I sweat to you that we really did that with the Antari alone. Which also makes me wonder how much more foggy it will be with the other machines running. I know this machine is expensive, it cost $650 out the door brand new but to me it is so worth it since right now I am in the middle of a claim with PayPal over a fog machine that was supposed to be awesome turned out to be a piece of crap. I will post videos soon to show how amazing this fog machine is, and when my gf got mad at me that I bought it I simply told her that it was an investment.

Since you seem so deeply invested in quality foggers, I would assume that you have also invested time and effort into finding quality fog juice also. So if this is indeed the case, what would be your opinion on a quality brand of fog juice? Is there a difference in performance between the cheap jugs you get at the Halloween stores or should we invest a little more for a brand name? You dont put the cheap gas in a Ferrari right?

It is funny you should ask that because I just went through a bunch of testing with fog juices. The last few years I have had so many problems with my fog machines and little did I know that the fog juice was behind it all, so to answer your question, yes it does matter.
The stuff that is sold at the party stores tends to be meant for indoors and with that the fog dissipates much quicker compared to that of named brand fog juice such as eliminator, froggs, or any fog machines name brand fog juice.
Also another important thing is the quality that goes into make the juice. I have had to have my antari ice fixed because I was trying to be cheap about the fog juice. Pay the extra 5 bucks and get the good stuff. Hope this helps.

Froggy's fog juice is pretty much the standard for thick fog. I've been using the Swamp Juice for years, I'll never go back to the generic juice.

I like to run my fogger(s) through a chiller. I admit I usually just use the party store juice because it's so affordable. I usually add a little vegetable glycerin to help thicken it up a bit.

One year I bought some froggy's, but I couldn't really see a difference in my chauvet 1700. I'd like to know more about your experiments. What would you say is the best for long-lasting ground fog?

I use a homemade chiller too which is built different than most everyone else's fog chiller. I built it after the way the antari Ice built their chiller.

FRoggy's does last longer with what I noticed from all the other stuff from party city but another great brand was the eliminator fog brand. Not their eco kind though but their normal stuff is real good.

Same here! Froggy's Fog is simply the best fog juice you can buy. I too use Swamp Juice and run through a simple 400 Watt fogger and it makes great results.
