Spirit Halloween has released 4 new themes for their "Fright Squad" service this year. They are:
-"The Graveyard"
-"House Of Horrors"
-"Zombie Baby Circus"
-"Zombie Wasteland"
With these new themes come different set-up/display pieces which are VERY cool imo. My two favorite are the ticket stand entrance for the zombie baby circus and the zombie wasteland sewer tunnel.

aren't all of these "store displays" that they sell just cardboard? That is some expensive cardboard in my opinion.

They are cool displays and if they were a more durable material I think they would be worth the price. The "house of horrors" for $799 seem REAL STEEP. I can build a wooden version for less and have live gouls jumping from the doors and windows.
Still they are real neat looking and my favorite is the zombie tunnel.

i agree with him, those trees and the house of horrors are really simple to make. just get some card board, wood, nails and some scene setters, and voila, you can make them yourself for like $80.

What i did was befriend someone at spirit then when the store is having their clearance sale after Halloween, ask them if you can buy their displays... they usually say yes and will save it for you. that's how i got my zombie baby blocks! This year i have a friend who is working for our local spirit! I'll have to ask him if they could sell me some of their displays this year!

But I made my own ticket stand last year out of wood for less than a quarter of that amount. Why Spirit gotta show me up with candy colored Halloween goodness?

So far, the only life-size props in the zombie wasteland category are Rosemary, Demonica, and last year's crawling zombie. Do you think it's correct to assume that the Twilight Twitched Zombie, Flesh-Eating Zombie, Shadow Stalker Zombie, and this year's Crawling Zombie will soon be added?

I hope nobody drops 800 bucks on the house of horrors and expects it to survive the wind and the rain! I love spirit and enjoy going there but 800 bucks for printed cardboard is crazy! Find some pallet wood and make one 10x better than that!!!

If these were plastic even thin plastic..I'd be much more interested. Wonder what it cost to laminate the whole things ? ;D
